Our Country Sales & Marketing – MBO Department at the Triumph office in New Delhi, India is looking immediately for a highly motivated



                                                                                    Sales Team Lead - Wholesale (f/m) (100%)



Roles & Responsibilities:

Sales and Operations:

  • Drive sales for the region as per company goals to achieve targets for traditional wholesales
  • Regular visits to counters to engage with owners and staff for active business development
  • Manage existing retailers from both sales and operations point of view
  • Identify and appoint new retail partners and develop sales as per individual retailer potential
  • Monitor the sales network and implement previously defined strategies to achieve sales objectives and targets
  • Track and follow up on payment collections as per internal targets and ensure outstandings are within company KPI’s
  • Manage sales promotions and incentive schemes
  • Negotiate and select sizeable prime locations for Triumph’s counters in the stores to reflect the brand’s dominant position
  • Cultivate relationship marketing with the trade to gain their support and goodwill
  • Ensure the company’s guidelines on visual merchandising are met and maintained at POS
  • Monitor retail sales to follow consumer purchase trends
  • Maintain a constant surveillance on competitive activities to ensure that the organization is ahead of competition, and prepare report on major competitor’s strengths / weaknesses for planning purposes
  • Record daily sales reports based on market visits and send updates to management as per internal reporting schedule
  • Where necessary, visit up-country retailers to perform duties as is done in base-town on a weekly basis
  • Any ad-hoc jobs that may be assigned by the Management from time to time

Staff Management:

  • Plan, set-up, coordinate and supervise own and regional team route plans, staff training schedules, counter staffing and relieving with and through the regional teams to maintain 100% sales efficiency
  • Coach, manage and supervise the regional teams on VM, POS material, counter set-up and CSS throughout the regions for highest possible sales performance and consumer reach
  • Screening and recruitment of new staff as per requirement and on basis of overall profitability
  • Initiate and maintain team bonding, motivation and relationship building with all staff members


Your ideal profile:

  • At least 2 - 4 years’ sales experience
  • Industry: Apparel or FMCG industry
  • Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word
  • English communication skills required
