Our IT Department in Munich (Germany) is looking immediately for a highly motivated




Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage, lead and coach the team of Solution Manager Supply Chain
  • Analyze and refine demand requirements provided by Business Relationship Manager and business units for delivering the necessary IT services to business
  • Develop rationale and perform scoping assessments to determine technical feasibility of solution
  • Highlight/identify gaps in existing functionality and review requirements with relevant stakeholders
  • Develop detailed and comprehensive requirement specifications that will determine the estimate of cost, time and resources
  • Steer and liaise external partners to suggest a high level technical solution
  • Develop project estimates (costs, timeline) for the development of the technical solution as an input for the overarching business case
  • Work closely together with the Enterprise Architect to develop future state Enterprise Architecture (EA) blueprints (business, application, infrastructure, information, process, tools, security, organization) for the Supply Chain domain and create a set of actionable plans to reach the desired future state architecture
  • Identify value creation opportunities enabled by combining business insights with emerging or existing technologies
  • Act as overall application owner for applications in his/her domain

Your ideal profile:

  • Master/Bachelor degree in engineering, business, finance, economics, IT or equivalent
  • 5 years of experience in designing and building solutions and applications at least in two of the following areas: Demand and Supply Planning, Production Planning and execution, PLM and Master Data maintenance, Materials Management and Warehouse Management.
  • 5 years of experience in analyzing and breaking down problems and information using structured frameworks and methodologies
  • 5 years of functional solution development and documentation
  • 3+ years experiences in leading teams
  • Enterprise architecture skills in the Supply Chain domain
  • Knowledge of the relevant process landscape: market to order
  • Experience in working with and capabilities to coordinate 3rd party IT service provider
  • Subject matter expert in one of SAP modules: AP0, EWM, PP, WM, MM/LM
  • Solid understanding of architectural concepts and integration of supply chain applications in the overall application landscape
  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English are a must, German skills would be an advantage
  • Ability for project-related and global travel
