Our Supply Chain Department in Chennai, India is looking immediately for a highly motivated


                  Company Secretary cum Jr. Internal Auditor (f/m) -100%


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Drafting the Internal Audit Charter of the organisation in line with the international standards along with Chief Internal Auditor
  • Developing risk–based annual audit plans detailing the scope, nature and timing of audit activities
  • Designing internal audit procedures and work programs
  • Conducting internal audits to assess the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the established internal controls and procedures
  • Identifying key areas of risk within the organisation and propose appropriate controls to mitigate the risks
  • Discussing audit findings and recommendations with line managers and reporting significant issues to senior management
  • Preparing audit reports in line with the approved audit plan
  • Providing senior management and the Board of Auditors with an opinion on the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the internal controls in the organization
  • Organizing Board Meetings & Annual General Meetings
  • Maintaining of statutory registers under the Companies Act
  • Alternating of Memorandum & Articles of Association of the Company
  • Liaising with Registrar of Companies, Income Tax office, Sales Tax office, Banks
  • Preparing and filling of various forms with the Registrar of Companies relating to the appointment/ retirement of Board of Directors
  • Drafting of other Legal Documents like POA, Affidavits, Bank Guarantees, Indemnity Bonds, Letter of Authority, Renewal & Termination Letters etc.
  • Preparing of Legal Opinion on various matters relating to Corporate and Other Laws
  • Ensuring Legal or Statutory Compliances of the organization under the Companies' Act

Your ideal profile:

  • CA/ICWA/CS/Law, mandatory Qualified Company Secretary with membership number 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with CS Membership number
  • Minimum 2 years of experience gained in a similar position  
  • Knowledge of risk mapping, tax laws, labour laws, factory laws, statutory change
  • Ability to interpret the law and give required advise
  • Ability to apply audit standards through practical application
  • Proactivity and high level of confidence
  • Strong organization skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluency in English
