Our Inventory & Demand Management Department at Triumph in Hong Kong is looking immediately for a highly motivated Demand Planning Specialist.



                                                                                      Demand Planning Specialist



Roles & Responsibilities:

The Demand Specialist reports to the Demand Manager to drive reliable demand planning via following responsibilities:

    • [Forecast-to-Delivery process]
      Provide reliable central demand plan for early alignment with supply chain; On behalf of cluster/country to attain order flexibility and withhold supply chain SLA to contribute to total stock efficiency for Asia sales BU
      [Scope: CN+ESEA]
    • [Central Demand Management]
      Base on the monthly rolling forecast to drive action to achieve quarterly stock in a reasonable level.
      Aggregate latest sales rolling forecast & Regional Demand plans to create visibility on holistic Demand Forecast.  Analyze historical sales data, seasonal pattern, country demand characteristic, assortment impact and incorporate market intelligence into reliable statistical forecasting; Manage monthly SKU based (i.e. SPICE) demand plan and ensure full alignment with forecast/budget and sign-off to Supply Planning according to scheduled calendar.
    • [Supply Chain coordination]
      Consolidate annual preliminary budgeting in monthly bracket, 6 month monthly rolling-forecast from local demand planner; create long range (18 months) Strategic level forecasts for the Region based on Brand Strategies, company financial objectives, as an input for Supply Chain; manage the Novelty & Running yearly capacity (review quarterly) for sourcing in house/ex third party for SC preparing the capacity overview; Administer monthly Demand Supply Coordination meeting via providing comprehensive and reliable demand visibility; proactively identity gaps and constructively work with Supply Planning partner to take gap-closing decisions and actions.

Your ideal profile:

  •  Experience in demand planning, strong track record in demand planning & experience in interfacing with Supply Chain.  Strong excel skill, a good knowledge on retail buying preferably in apparel industry, process minded.

Other Requirements:

Technical skills 

  • Good IA market knowledge is preferred

Language Skills

  • Strong command of written and spoken English
  • Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

IT proficiency

  • Proficient in Excel and power point
  • Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage

Other skills

  • Strong number sense with good analytical skills
  • Proactive and fast worker with attention to details
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to multi-task, manage competing priorities and tight deadlines
