Our Sales Operations & Business Development Asia Department at the Sales Asia in Hongkong is looking immediately for a highly motivated

 

 

                           Asia Business Analytics Manager(f/m) (working 100 %)

 

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Delivers critical input and analysis of the underlying cost and sales drivers to support the strategy and business plan development processes for Asia
    • Provides in-depth analysis to the Asian and regional management teams of Turnover drivers with focus on controlled business:
      • Retail KPIs (footfalls, UPT, VPT, ASP)
      • Purchase baskets analysis
      • New consumer insights
      • Sell-out analysis and SOR targets (PLC, bargain generation and inventory optimization)
      • Channel performance & assortment planning
      • Pricing and management margin
    • Competitor, Market and Economic analysis
    • Organizes and develops processes and structures of Asian Sales Reporting (i.e. Key Messages, POS Tracker, Commercial Plan, etc.) to prepare and summarize key takeaways for Regional & Global S&OP
    • Analyses and interprets business results, tracks achievement vs. targets and proposes corrective measures
    • Prepares ad-hoc analysis and presents analytical information to the regional management teams to foster decision making and to drive actions
    • Establishes a state of the art management information system and supporting analytical systems
    • Enhances the system architecture in coordination with IT and business process owners with focus on channel, POS and inventory reporting (mainly on project basis)
    • Drives for new, better, faster, data driven decision making processes

    • Educate cross-functional teams to ensure consensus on business issues and interpretation of figures
    • Provide recommendation, opinions and develop creative solutions to key business issues and opportunities

Your ideal profile:

  • Technical skills:

    • Strong reporting, score carding and analysis experience interpreting complex data including using advanced Excel features, queries and statistical tools
    • Highly analytical mind-set with the ability to look at vast amounts of data and synthesize that information into intelligence that can be acted upon by the business
    • High degree of logical and mathematical thinking, very rational and fact based mindset
    • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a focus on planning and prioritizing workload in a fast-paced environment

    Language Skills:

    Fluent in English; Excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written

    IT proficiency:

    • Deep understanding of databases, SAP R/3 and SAP Business Warehouse (BW), etc.
    Expert level PC skills (emphasis on MS Excel, PowerPoint) with the ability to adapt to new systems and applications quickly
