Our Finance & Administration Department located at the office in Vedbeak (Denmark) is looking for a highly motivated 


                      Finance Director Nordics (100%)


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Acting as a business partner to the local leadership team in all Business Units (BU) and serving as a key member of the local leadership team
  • Participating in pivotal decisions that relate to strategic initiatives and operational models for the local market
  • Assessing and evaluating financial performance of the local organization with regard to long-term operational goals, budgets and forecasts and supporting all tasks necessary to achieve the SSC vision
  • Implementing financial policies, procedures and processes and ensuring systems and software are able to provide critical financial and operational information
  • Analyzing, reporting, reviewing and compliance, under the guidance of regional and Business Unit leaders
  • Ensuring financial statements are timely and accurately reflect the company’s financial business performance
  • Managing tax responsibilities and monitoring cash collections and forecast reporting
  • Enhancing and implementing financial and accounting systems, processes, tools and controls
  • Managing cash flow planning process and ensuring funds availability
  • Representing the company to banks and financial partners, institutions, external auditors and official local authorities.
  • Guiding teams in all Business Units and in Shared Services


Your ideal profile:

  • Master University degree in Business Administration/Finance/Accounting
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in leading financial management positions - preferably for retail companies
  • Significant experience of working with external auditors, internal controls and compliance-related issues
  • ACCA/ACMA or equivalent professional qualification is a strong asset
  • Strong leadership skills – must have
  • Fluent English and Danish – must have
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP FI/CO
  • Knowledge of IFRS
  • Ability to work proactively, independently and „can do” attitude
  • Very good communication and presentation skills
