Our marketing team in London is looking for a Trade Marketing Manager to join us on the Sloggi journey!


               Trade Marketing Manager UK & Ireland (f/m) 100%


This is an integral role within the sloggi HQ team. Selling product predominantly through retail partners in the UK (with the exception of, this role will be responsible for the development and implementation of marketing activities with key retailers such as John Lewis, Amazon & ASOS.  

Working closely with the sales team to build strong and collaborative retailer relationships. Supporting both the sell in and sell through of sloggi products to build and grow key concepts, brand share of voice and overall business with all key retail partners in the UK & Ireland.   

Key role responsibilities:

  • Using insights to develop and deliver bespoke trade marketing plans for all key retailers across all marketing channels
  • Support the sales team with all sell in activities, project-managing any events, creative briefs or asset production needed to support the successful sell in of new product concepts or campaigns
  • Producing localized creative briefs (for POS, window & VM displays, digital banners & ads) to deliver local and global campaign objectives
  • Project managing/executing & analyzing end-to-end bespoke campaigns with retailers
  • In partnership with brand marketing maintain high standards of creative output both B2B (sell in) and B2C (sell out)
  • Juggling multiple campaigns and projects seamlessly
  • Develop the local seasonal trade marketing calendar to include campaigns, product launches, promotions and events
  • Managing digital trade focused advertising spend to maximize brand and product visibility, driving conversion and targeted ROAS with key online retailers
  • Driving digital trade spend analysis together with product & sales teams to optimize advertising spend
  • Maintaining and developing product representation with all online retailers to maximize conversion and reduce product returns
  • Managing the official B2B communication platforms such as email & image/asset banks
  • Work closely with brand & PR/Influencer marketing colleagues to drive consideration & traffic to appropriate partner retailers
  • Push the boundaries (acting entrepreneurially) with partner retailers to build & grow the sloggi brand together with sales & product teams

 What we’re looking for: 

  • Minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role, working either for a brand or retailer
  • Natural comminicator with the ability to form strong working relationships (at all levels, both internal and external) quickly
  • Excellent use of English language with strong copy writing skills
  • Experienced in all microsoft applications such as Excel, PPT etc
  • Planner by nature, with strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects at speed
  • Comfortable working under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Well versed the in the value of trade marketing and how this works together with other channels/elements of the marketing mix
  • Embodies a true entrepreneurial flair, with the ability to spot opportunities and predict marketplace trends
  • Experience of working/running campaigns with online retailers such as Amazon (preferred but not essential)
  • True team player – sharing knowledge, skills and project across the wider northern European marketing team
  • Highly motivated, self starter with the confidence to kick start their sloggi journey working remotely
  • Interest in fashion, apparel & bodywear
  • University Degree (not essential)
