For our office in Munich (Germany) we are searching for a highly motivated:

 

                     Head of Marketing sloggi DACH (f/m) – 100%

                             Maternity cover – at least 1,5 years

 

What You’ll do:

As the Head of Marketing sloggi DACH you are in charge of establishing and managing an innovative brand communications framework that supports sloggi’s vision, mission and values, in order to achieve our business objectives in the region. Within this framework you and your team will be developing and leading the implementation of the local marketing plan and execute a large variety of effective brand initiatives.

 

Key accountabilities include:

  • Develop and monitor region-wide marketing plans and calendars and be responsible for the regional marketing budget to meet sell-in and sell-out objectives, track results and gather key learnings
  • Be responsible for the proper, timely and flawless execution of planned marketing initiatives: product launches, advertising campaigns, PR / media relations, events, trade and POS marketing, promotional activations and driving our brand’s regional content strategy, especially in owned social media channels
  • Ensure proper alignment of regional marketing activations with global brand toolkits, guidelines and strategy, liaising with external stakeholders including managing and advancing relationships within our marketing agency roster and media / publishing partners
  • Be the leading voice of the consumer and the brand, acting as an interface, sparring partner and guide for other functional leaders and their teams, including Sales, Sales Operations, Product & Merchandising, Customer Service, Finance and HR
  • Evolving best-in-class POS marketing capabilities and ensuring the continuous development of creative trade marketing tools and our new shop-in-shop system to drive an engaging consumer experience.
  • Lead negotiations concerning indirect marketing investment (coop marketing) spent with our accounts and drive its impact on brand-building and developing sales in a profitable way

 

What You’ll bring:

  • 5 years of Marketing Communications/PR experience gained in similar industry or FMCG industry
  • Comprehensive experience with the current and emerging media landscape, including a solid expertise of digital marketing
  • Trade marketing experience and knowledge of the market in Germany
  • Experience with earned media / PR and Influencer Marketing
  • Experience with managing agency relationships
  • Written and verbal communication in German (excellent) and English (good)
  • Strategic acumen, paired with an agile, hands-on mentality
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • A good eye for creative excellence, both visually and conceptually
  • Strong presentation skills that let you motivate and excite people about your ideas and perspectives
  • Ability to set motivating targets, measure against them and deliver clear reporting presentations
