Our Finance Department located at the office in Eindhoven (the Netherlands) is looking for a highly motivated 


                                                              Finance Accountant Benelux/UK (f/m) (100%)

                                                          (fixed term contract for 1 year with the option of extension)


 Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Improve controls and monthly reviews of payroll reconciliations, which will aid a faster and accurate monthly and year-end close
  • Review of monthly Accenture balance sheets reconciliations and follow up on issue resolutions
  • Support Accenture with the daily reconciliations process regarding shop cash registers in Benelux
  • Support the quarterly and annual IFRS BCS and OAR submissions to Head Office
  • Support Finance Managers in Benelux and UK/Ire with audit schedule preparation
  • Support IFRS 16 Reporting on leases via monthly Tagetik review and process to ensure accurate reporting
  • Assist Finance and Group business partners on projects within the region
  • Assist on controls of inventory, provisions and consignment stock controls with order management, retail and external audit
  • Conduct external compliance submissions regarding Government Statistics and VAT submissions
  • Provide internal financial control - reviews of BS account reconciliations and resolve outstanding Open Items.
  • Review accruals and provisions on a monthly basis and secure accurate Cut Off in Manage Close process
  • Review of transactions and identify unusual transactions, execute investigations and drive resolution

Your ideal profile:

  • Master degree or bachelor in accounting or comparable area required
  • Min 3 years of experience in a similar role within an international company
  • Solid accounting experience - Local GAAP in Benelux / UK and IFRS accounting principles
  • Strong finance process understanding e.g. Cash to Collect, Purchase to Pay, Record to Report, Manage Close, Inventory
  • Excellent command of English & Dutch (spoken and written), French would be a plus
  • Advanced MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and good SAP FI/CO or comparable skills
  • Strong presentations skills
  • Highly developed analytical skills
  • Proactive, team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently
